    conditionally formatting hyperlinkgs

    Ok so this is kicking my @ss. what i want to happen is the following

    I have a cell that has a hyperlink in it. When i select the hyperlink i want that cell to turn from red to green. how do i do this

    Rob,

    Is this what you need?

    Select your hyperlink cell and click on the Home tab > click drop down on Styles section > right click on "Hyperlink" > Modify > Format > click drop down on Color section and select red color.

    Repeat the process with "Followed Hyperlink".

    thats the first step i guess. But what i want to happen is when i click on the hyperlink, i want the cell to turn green.

    Based on your last post in this thread, its apparent that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received and have solved your question, but you haven't marked your thread as "SOLVED". I will do it for you this time.

    In future, to mark your thread as Solved, you can do the following -
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved.

    Incase your issue is not solved, you can undo it as follows -
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
