Hi
select the range of numbers to pair and try this macro - it will list the pairs in a column, starting in cell C2:

Thanks for the macro. It doesn't seem to be outputting anything in the destination cell. I am not getting any errors. The macro seem to be doing a loop but not placing anything into the desired cells.
That's odd, it worked for me.
Have you selected the range with your input numbers?
Yes when i don't select anything i get an error message. does the selection set need to start with the output cell? i changed the output cell for my sheet
When i tried it in a blank worksheet it seemed to have worked. i also wasnt starting at point 1 which it didnt seem to like either. is there a way to place the second number in the next column over?
The macro has two ranges in you sheet. One contains your source numbers (1,2,3,4) the other, the first cell in the output column. You must select the range with your source numbers for the macro to work.
There's a workbook that will do this at https://app.box.com/s/b9b9fc06beb63b9562f9
