    Statistical significance from percentage

    So I have something like this:

    Pre-test || Post-test
    45,5 % || 27,3% (<-- percentage of failure)

    Is it possible to calculate the statistical significance if have only these two percentages?

    Hi,

    Not as I understand the concept of significance. Whichever test of significance you use you'll need to have some population to use in the calculation. In this case the data that's been used to derive the two percentages, which I assume are perhaps averages.
