A Question about a drop down list

Hi I have a drop down list that is dependant on another drop down list, all this works fine, however if the user changes the first drop down list the second still continues to display the last option chosen by the user, is there a way to make the 2nd drop down list display "Please Use Drop Down List To Select An Option" instead, also is it also possible to do this without code?

I'd say: only with code - you shall use Worksheet_Change event handler for this.

Or if u just want to show them this message to make them aware, in the data validation, there is an option called Input Message, which will show custom message when that cell is selected. You may can make use of that.
But it is not conditional though
