VLookUp - recognizing text format

    Hello,

I am using V/HLookUps to pull data from a large database. The only problem is that the database contains two rows with the same value, just different formats. i.e. Row 10: "Assets" and Row 25: "Assets" in italics. Is there a way to have the VLookUp return the values for the italicized row only?

    Thank you!

Re: VLookUp - recognizing text format

Short answer - no. Formatting is cosmetics, not data, excel works with data

VLOOKUP() will only pick up the 1st instance that it finds...then stop looking
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
