Conditional Format for blanks & today date less than 42 days from another cell date

Hi - Please help

I am looking for a formula. I want to colour cells in ColumnP when ColumnP (row 9:500) is blank and B2(the NOW date) is less than 42 days from dates in ColumnB (row9:500)

Basically Im looking to highlight cells that are not populated with a date(columnP) 42 days before the required date(column). The cells being active to todays date(b2) or NOW

Hi - Please forgive me but Im not good with excel

I am trying to do 2 things to all of Column P that with turn the cell a colour if
1. Column P is blank - the cell in Column P will turn to a colour if todays date is less than 42 date from the date in Column B
2. Column P has a date - the cell in Coumn P will turn a colour if the date in Column P is less then 42 days from the date in Column B

I presume that I need conditionial formatting for this - the two can be combined as I only need one colour
Is this any clearer - I just want to put a formula into conditional formatting you Cells P9-P500
