    Vlookup or alternative

    Hi ,
I am trying to apply vlookup in my report spreadsheet but some how its not working.

I have two sheets named as "All" & "Report"

What I wanted to do is extract Fee of each person under sheet "All" from "Report" Sheet.

There are more than one payment against few persons.

There could be few persons under "ALL" who's Fee info not available under report

    Attached is my spreadsheet report.

    Regards

    Re: Vlookup or alternative

    Could you clarify something please?

When there is more than one payment for a person do you want the total amount paid? The first amount paid? The largest amount paid? The last amount paid?

    in Sheet All!C2
    =SUMPRODUCT((report!A$2:A$19=A2)*report!C$2:C$19)
    and copy down

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
