Hey, first time user of the forum. I want to create a formula that adds cell values until it hits a certain value, and then starts adding again from there in the next cell. See below attached excel sheet for what I am looking at.
test formula.xlsx
In the attachment I want to make Cell G17 sum up the value of E17 + F17 up until it reaches the value of 80, and then I want H17 to then start the summing up from where G17 ends (starting back at zero). I've seen a similar formula that someone on here said is supposed to do it, but it does not work like it is supposed to... but maybe there is an error someone can see in it??
(=IF(E17+F17>80,H17,E17+F17)
Any help would be great!
For example, I'm trying to accomplish this:
if E17=50 and F17=20, then G17 would show as 70 and H17 would show as 0.
if E17=50 and F17=30, then G17 would show as 80 and H17 would show as 0.
if E17=50 and F17=40, then G17 would show as 80 and H17 would show as 10.
