Hi,

please find the attached file


im trying to calcultae the fuel burn for one of our Aircraft depending on how much is the block time


so..
hours:
1st 3000lbs
2nd 2900lbs
3rd 2100lbs
4th 2100lbs
5th 2100lbs
6th 2100lbs
7th 2100lbs

if i fly 1 hour.. .then it will be 3000 lbs fuel burning
if i fly 1.5 hr it will be 1hr*3000 lbs + .5hr * 2900 = 4450 lbs .
if i fly 4.7hrs it will be ... 1hr*3000lbs + 1hr*2900lbs + 1hr*2100lbs + 1hr*2100lbs +.7 hr* 2100lbs = 11570lbs of fuel burning.


now how can i make a formula to under stand that each hour should be multiplied by each cell and sum it up in one cell ?

JR Dhona...thats exactly what i want . i did not understand anything from that formula . but its working lol. do u have a link on youtube or anywhere else explaining this ?

Crooza. i like what you have done but its a bit complicated as you added extra coloumn.also , when you multiply 1.5 you multiply first hour with with first hour of fuel burn. for the .5 hr , you need to multiply it by the second hr of fuel burn not the first hour
