    Gaming Roster (Accruing Points for good or bad behavior, Promotions, Conditions met)

    Back again already! This site is great and the response was very quick with my previous request, and it has lead me to finally try and tackle this hobby project I have been working on to help me manage a gaming clan I am in. I have been working on this thing forever and have given up on dozens of attempts and simply filled everything out the good ol' hard way. So this is probably an advanced request and I have no qualm with compensating anyone here with a little money ($15) if this proves to be time consuming (if you have paypal).

    I want to make a sort of "records" page I have related to a gaming clan I help run. We have it set up to mimic the real military in which you accrue points that go towards your promotion and/or demotion if you fall off under the monthly requirements too much. If say for example you donate a certain amount of $$$ you are awarded "X" amount of points. If you played for "This many hours this month" you get (or lose) "X" amount of points.

    All of these conditions finally add/subtract into a score called your final "Eligibility Score" which is used to compare to your current rank's "Cutting Score min or high values". If the player exceeds the required points for his current rank he becomes eligible for promotion. If he falls under he is demoted.

    With that being said, the document below has been altered in the open areas (they are in light red, light green and light purple) to show you the assigned values each option has. If you are still trying to figure out what I am trying to do then please feel free to reply.

    In total, there are three formulas that will be needed, but one (the light green one) is the tough one by far

    Hi. Nearly done, I just got confused by one bit. See the sheet. All done, bar the bits highlighted in yellow. Please take a look at the formula sheet and complete columns B&C in the correct way. I couldn't follow your description properly.

    On the main sheet, the additional columns (K, M, O & Q) can be hidden if you don't want to see them.

    Thanks so much! It works perfectly! I had literally been off and on working with this for almost 3 years now. This will make keeping track of these guys so much easier and less time consuming now Thank you!

    Don't forget... the promotion - demotion cells aren't automated yet. I got lost over the criteria you were using and stpped to get your explanation.

    No problem, have already changed them with the "IF" Commands (I discovered it yesterday as I was researching on this site).

    I can't wait to start implementing this into our little group, can't tell you how much time you just saved me!!!!!!!

    =IF(AND(T3>V3,T3<U3),"No",IF(AND(T3>U3),"Yes",IF(AND(T3<V3),"Demote","")))

    T3 = Their current score

    V3 = Lowest score for that rank

    U3 = Highest score for that rank
