Conditional Formatting between 2 different Excel Worksheets

    Hi,

I'm having trouble using conditional formatting -
I have one worksheet called "Master" and another called "Sales", In the Sales worksheet I have added conditional formatting - when I enter a certain word it will automatically update that cell a specific colour. I want the Master Worksheet to reflect the sales worksheet so if a cell needs to be changed in the Sales Worksheet the Master worksheet will automatically be updated. - I can bring across the formula to the master spread sheet but just not sue how I can also bring across the Conditional formatting aswell? Any Suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the forum

If you are using 2010, you should be able to reference the other sheet directly, and then use New Rule/Use Formula, and create a formula that looks for the same thing the cell in SALES does
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Thanks for your comment, The "Value" from the sales sheets comes over just the not certain colour with the conditional formatting - Is there away around not re-creating the conditional formatting and referencing the Sales sheet and the conditional formatting still come across?
