Excel Hyperlinks issue, make me look good!

Hey everybody, I am facing an issue with Excel that I am having trouble solving. I will do my best to explain

basically I have a folder, lets call it folder 1, with a master excel sheet and 5 other folders within that folder. when copying the master sheet within folder 1 and pasting it into any of the other folders, the hyperlinks all crash I am assuming because of the change in file location

If I copy the master file and paste it into folder one, right next to itself, all of the links work just fine.
If I copy the master file and then paste it into one of the other folders nothing works. I can fix them all individually technically... but there are about a thousand hyperlinks per one of the four folders and aint nobody got time for that. is there a simple fix out there? I would love to fix this for my bosses.

Check the hyperlinks. SOMETIMES, it builds a shortcut version using dots: ..\myfolder\file.xls
Be sure the ENTIRE path is there: \\server\folder1\folder2\file.xls.

that appears to be the issue! now comes the question on how to fix it,

I have over 4 hyperlinked cells on average per worksheet and over 400 worksheets I think

is there a quick and easy fix to everything?
