Data validation lists not working correctly

Hi again all! You all have been so great! It has helped so much, my favorite thing is learning the problem so it will never be a problem again.

So, here is whats going on. I am using multiple data validation lists and they are all working except one for some reason, and I can't figure it out.

I am using two different lists that use =INDIRECT() to reference the next list. Out of multiple lists only one isn't working and all others do, so I'm scratching my head as to why.

The issue is in cell C40 when you select Start up in cell A40, C40 wont bring up any list, when it should have two options. The rest of the options in cell A40 work in C40.


If someone could help out, I would be extremely grateful and I would definitely add reputation!

I can't replicate that. I see two options in C40. Backflow Parts & Backflow Test, when Startup is selected in A40.

Can you clarify your problem please?

I added the wrong work book. It was working in that one for me too. In this work book I know it is not working though. I just tried it.

It is under the tab Invoice Master. I don't know why that is happening. Sorry about that.

I tried as well. A40 has only Startup as an option, and when that is selected, C40 shows the 2 options that Richard noted - Backflow Parts & Backflow Test

If nothing is selected in A41, you have a long list of options in C41

On a side note, wht are you using so ment columns for "Description"? you need at most 2, and could probably get away with just 1...all those other columns are pretty much redundant and moght cause problems with formulas later

Remove the space in Start up on both sheets (Startup)
