Using Excel to Match Inventory to Voucher

When we receive product our freight department has a voucher full of UPCs. I want to enter in all the UPCs in column A on Sheet2 in excel. I would then, on Sheet1, start scanning the actual products that we received. If a UPC that I scanned is not on Sheet2 I would like the cell to highlight in red so we can catch and remove the discrepancy. Is there any formula or conditional formatting that would help me solve this problem? Thanks for the help!

Almost certainly... but without a sample spread sheet, we have nothing to work on. Please post a sheet (without any sensitive or commercial data).

OK. This needs a bit of a workaround, as 2007 won't let you use conditional formatting based on what's in another sheet. So, you just have to confuse it.

On sheet 2, make column A a named range. I've called it source. I then used a simple conditional formatting equation

    Formula: copy to clipboard

and it seems to work. See your sheet, returned.
