Hi, I hope someone can help me as I'm going round in circles.
Basically I am trying to use an historic conversion rate of leads to sales (141 leads converted to 74 sales. So a conversion rate of sales/leads = Conversion rate. Which is 74/141 = 52.48%)
I currently have a target of 111 sales and now want to use the 52.48% conversion rate to project how many leads I will need to make to achieve those sales
So in cell E6 I have the conversion rate formatted as % so "52.48%"
In cell E4 I have entered the new sales target of "111"
In Cell E5 I have a blank cell which will be the leads
What formula or function in Excel can I use to determine Cell E5? i:e the number of leads we should be aiming for?
The sales target (cell E4) may change but the conversion rate will (cell E6) be constant so I need a formula in Cell E5 that will calculate the leads using the conversion rate and the target sales.
I hope this makes sense and hope someone can give me the answer..
Cheers,
Tom
