    Conditional Formating by Date

I have a general ledger that I would like to be able to highlight certain rows by day of week. Basically the highlighted cells would serve as a reminder that data is missing if it is highlighted and blank.

For example we get deliveries every Mon and Thurs so I would like to highlight every row or selection of cells on those days to reflect deliveries come in and there should be info entered from invoices.

Im thinking it needs to be done via conditional formatting using a formula. And I tried the weekday() function but haven't gotten any further than that.

    Help!
