Is there a reason I have no replies? if this issue has been resolved somewhere else, can you please direct me? Thank you again and sorry to be a bother.
Good Afternoon, All!!
I knew it wouldn't be long before I'd be back asking for your help; Please again know that I've spent quite a bit of time researching my issue and did not find a valid response...
I have a spread sheet with 2500+ rows. As an example, I have Student Editions for Gr 1-6 and Teacher Editions 1-6 as well.. I have a separate sheet with my "master data", where I copy the data I need, and then go to Sheet 1 and paste the data into the corresponding Cells.. Obviously in my Master Data sheet, the data takes up 6 rows, with no hidden rows...
But often times, When I filter to get to the Teacher Editions, I may SEE the rows in order 1-6, but there will be a hidden row.
I am using Excel 2008 (the Mac version of 2007; sorry it's work and I had no choice!!).. I have tried the Paste Special, visible cells only, and I have tried the Skip Blanks function as well..
The Visible Cells Only does not work for this, and the Skip Blanks function causes Excel to Crash.. UGH!!
isn't there an easy way that if I have a contiguous range of data, and I want to paste it into a VISIBLY contiguous range of data, that the hidden rows would be skipped and the data would go where I want it to?
Again, I'm finding with Excel that it does some amazingly tricky things, but the seemingly obvious/simple tasks are quite burdensome!
Thank you again, everyone; i look forward to everyone's responses!!
