Indicate TREND by using only formula

    Good day friends!

I have a few rows of data, with headings "Apr to Mar". Cells in columns Apr to Jul had been filled, the rest are still blank. I am pondering if it is at all possible to use a formula to tell me whether the values in a row of cells, (EXCLUDING the empty cells), have a "DOWN" or and "UP" trend?. In other words, instead of plotting the values in a graph and add a trend line, I want a formula to indicate what that trend line is. The formula must just indicate if the Trend Line is going up or going down. Thanx a lot guys!!
