Need to assign different gradient values based upon values

Within one of the columns I have a range of values between CH00050 and CH02000, I need a quick and dirty way to assign a different gradient color value to each value. So if CH00256 exists 5 times in the column all instances would be the same gradient but of a different gradient than CH00255 or CH00257. Is this possible and if so how?

Sort of. I extracted the 5 rightmost numbers from your codes in a new column and from there on it's a one click solution under Conditional Formatting.
