Cool Multiple Dependant Dropdown lists - need to show unique values only please

    Hi there.

I have a worksheet (see attached) where there are 4 colums of data on the worksheet "Ref" .. just a subset of the data will add the rest later
    L0 L1 L2 L3

    Each column has differing values

On the "Table" worksheet I would like to see the drop down lists as I have set up.

So if I select a value in L0, I can only see the corresponding items from L1 etc.. in all columns

This is working ... however I can not work out how to only display unique values.
So where ESS is repeated multiple times in L0 it shows it in the dropdown multiple times. Is there a way using formulas to do this across the 4 lists?

    Thank you :-)

Cool Re: Multiple Dependant Dropdown lists - need to show unique values only please

dependant lists v2.xlsxThank you for the reply. Please see attached.

I would like to remove the duplicate values in the drop down lists.

    Example;
If I select 'ESS' in column L0
I would like to see "ESS" in the drop down list of column L1, if I select that
I would like to see "Personnel Information", "Working Time", "Quota Overview(Leave Balance)","Benefits and payments" in L2, then if I select "Benefits and Payments"
I would like to see "ff", "gg" in column L3

This currently works I think, however there are repeated rows. I would like to see unique values only. So when the options appear for each drop down I done see ESS 15 times, just once.

The same for L2 and L3 so that only unique values appear in the drop down list from each selection. :-)

I have created a table with all the unique values on the "ref" worksheet but can't get it to all work together. :-(

Thank you very much for your reply.

Re: Multiple Dependant Dropdown lists - need to show unique values only please

    Hi Kmahesh,
Thank you for helping :-) This is not quite working as expected.
I was looking for the dependant drop downs. So

If I select "FI" in column L0,
THEN I only see "Master Fin Data" in column L1

As per the table on the worksheet "Ref"

Thank you for trying to help out. :-) I appreciate the effort.

    Thanx
    Amie
