Data Validation List from single source cell

Hello all

I've spent the afternoon trying to google this to no avail. Is there a way to create a data validation list with the values contained in a single source range cell?

Scenario: I have a field on a sheet in excel called Actors where I want the users to add mulitple attributes to, e.g "attribute1, attribute2, attribute3" etc

Underneath I then have a table with a column called "Actor" which I want to set as a drop down list so the user can only select one of the attributes from the above cell.

As this is a template the attributes will constantly change but I need that validation in the below table.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your replies. The main difference from your attached workbook to mine is all the Actors need to be in the same cell. This is because each template can be a various number and different actors which I want the use to fill out. I;ve attached a workbook as an example.

So in my atached workbook, the user would enter multiple actors in cell B1. Then in the table below would add a step in a process and select one of the actors from the list entered in B1.
