pulling total from one column if criteria is met from another column

I have data in column c
I have numbers in column e
in column K, I would like it to add/sum up the values in column E, If column C contains a specific name.

Column C has two entries for Drehaus
90.78 and 200
In column K I would like for it to sum up those totals if they are tied to Drehaus.

So all the expenses assigned to Drehaus would appear as one total in Column K

Does that make sense?
I can not get the spreadsheet to up load. <

Hi, welcome to the forum

Please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)

Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.

having said that, take a look at using the SUMIF() (for 1 criteria) or SUMIFs() (for multi-criteria) functions for this
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Hi and welcome to the forum

Pictures are of little value. Honestly, no one wants to re-type your data to try and solve your issue. Additionally, we would only be guessing at how your data was structured, ie. formulas, formatting, etc.

Please attach a sample file that represents what you have. The structure of your attachment should be the same structure as your actual data. Any proprietary information should be changed.

Include in the attachment any code you're currently using (whether it works or not) and an "After" of what you wish the output to be.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

Ok, I am new to this. I tried to up load the actual file, but it won't accept it unless it is a jpg, png, etc.
Please advise.

If it is an excel WB (or a zip file), this should work...
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

If it is an exceptionally large file, you may have to zip it. Otherwise, it should load without issue.Capture.PNG

This picture shows that Excel files are acceptable.
