I know the Formula is =Now() But how do I get it to show in this format? Year,Month,Day? I am using it to save the file with the date in the file name based on a cell value.

Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
=NOW() includes the tim e as well. Maybe use =TODAY() instead

In a single cell, but as; YYYY-MM-DD
Did you try the suggestion from post #2?
Just format cell where your formula is as Custom, and type in YYYY-MM-DD

AlKey, not sure that will work if they want to use the date in a file name. Got a feeling they will just end up with a 5-digit number
