Exclamation Help! Formula: Look up multiple text string and return multiple values

    Hello,

I am not sure if what I am about to ask is even possible. Any help, is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Here it goes:

    Column A
    Formula>

    Column B
    Apple
    Apple I love my apple
    Banana
    Banana I love my banana
    Banana Trust the banana
    Corn
    Corn
    Corn I love my corn
    Corn Trust

I want to look up Column B and if it states "Banana" or "Apple" or "Corn" to Return in Column A it's appropriate match, see below example. Is this possible?

    A B

    Apple Apple
Apple Apple I love my apple
    Banana Banana
Banana Banana I love my banana
    Banana Banana Trust the banana
    Corn Corn
    Corn Corn
Corn Corn I love my corn
    Corn Corn Trust

If you only want to return the matching fruit in col. A if col. B contains either Apple, Banana or Corn, try this.....
Assuming your string is in B1, then
    In A1

Otherwise Willem's formula will do the trick.
