Hi, first of thank you for coming in to my post, I'm just new to this forum and new to excel
here's my first problem, I know this is very simple but I am having hard time pulling up total number of employees per managers
can someone help me out. thanks
Need total count of employees depending on chosen manager, i dont use table yet i have to familiarize everything.

If there is no sample workbook, is hard to solve your problem.
I only can suggest you use function COUNTIF( range, criteria )

the table (blue) has a pull down so i can sort out which manager i want to be viewed and it must be a little advance for me, if u want you can also help me on that too
the green one is what i am into, i got the table for employee with their managers, now i need the count of their agents on this cell..
i put 0 on them for the meantime coz i havent figured out how to pull the results

They are used for absolute reference so that the row & column are freezed,
This will helpful when your dragging or pasting same function for various names
"<>" used if in case you have manager name in colum k but not having name in Column It this will take care
