If one worksheet contains text, insert "x" on another tab

Noob here...I am working on creating a training log to track employee progress. I have 2 tabs on my workbook...the first tab 'training log' is where I type in the employee's name, course they completed, and whether they pass or failed. the second tab 'employees' lists all employees names. I would like the second tab to pull an "x" if the employee passes the test on the first tab. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi,

What you can simply do is Vlookup the data from First tab to second tab.
Check out link for VLOOKUP: https://www.ablebits.com/office-addi...rial-beginner/
