Finding a Daily Average needed to reach a Monthly goal

Hello,

I have searched though almost every Q/A hoping to answer my own question. I am usually pretty good at using other solutions/formulas to help me with my dilemma, unfortunately I am not able to do so. Please help.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:

How to calculate a daily(Changing) average to reach a monthly goal. For instance, if my monthly goal is 10000, what are the daily sales needed to reach my month, and if I sell 150 on day 1, what would my daily goal be after day 1 and so on? I know the daily average will change depending on each days sales. I found an example of exactly what I need, but unfortunately I cannot seem to apply it correctly to the sheet I created. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Please attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.
