Can someone help me enter the function for this equation in excel. I am trying to solve for the internal and external common equity
($8.00/$6.00)^1/6 - 1 = 0.0491

I need help with the formula in excel. I am trying to solve for the internal common equity.
=(A1/A2)^(1/6)-1
where A1=8 and A2 = 6 (If you want them to be variables) or
=(8/6)^(1/6)-1

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
