Find Min Time taking 24hrs into account

Hi all,

Attached is my spreadhseet i am using to schedule arrivals/departures.

In cell J3 i am look for a formaul to find the earlier time in column F, these time occure both before and after midnight ie. 19:30 is earlier than 01:00 in terms of a arrivals for a night shift.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Apologies Im probably missing a trick here but how will the code know when a shift starts/ends to be able to calculate the earliest times?

Please find the modifications I made to your uploaded file.

I added days from your Day column to accommodate the times after midnight/before midnight values in column F. The formula in J3 is then:

This must be array-entered by committing with Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Excel will insert {}'s around your formula....visible in the formula bar. You do not type these in yourself. You'll likely have to adjust the row heights in row 3 accordingly.
