    How do you fill a series of cell references and skip four to produce a sequence

    Hi I need to produce a list of cell results but the cell references need to skip 3.

    Please see the attached example

    =INDEX(A:A,(ROW(A1)-1)*3+2)

    Copy down

    Your results are wrong, D10 should be y not x

    in D2
    =INDEX(A$1:A$27,(ROW()-2)*3+2,1)
    and copy down to D10
