Hi all,
I would appreciate some help from the Excel gurus here (got some great help before many thanks).
I have a sheet which contains staff names against their department. There are duplicate names for each department as it's an exception report. I need a formula to return a list of distinct staff under each department.
I was trying :
=IF($B$12='Exception Report'!C:C,'Exception Report'!B2)
Where B12 is the department, and column C is the department list. Column B is the list of staff.
This works except there are 30,000 lines in the report and I have to drag it all the way down, and it does not account for duplicates.
Ideally I would like a report that would do that and not have a person needing to drag down 30,000 lines also. Is this possible?
