Automatically insert the next number based on the amount of times same data appears

Hi,

Where I work we keep a log of calls. We keep track of how many times they call. I wish to automatically populate the No of times a particular caller calls.

So I need a formula that will check the last time a particular name was entered and check the number in the column for number of times that individual has
called, add 1 and populate the new entry with that number.

Number of call is on column B and Name of caller is on column G

Hope this makes sense.

Filled in some sample data and started the equations for the 3rd call. Equations are highlighted in yellow.

Cheers for that. Only question is, as we already have data on the workbook is there a way I can change the initial count number for different existing names?
