Long formula shortcut help!!!!

hi, hopefully there is a simple way to do this without me typing it all out .

PHP Code: 

=IF(J9=2,AJ3-J8,IF(J9=3,AJ4-J8,IF(J9=3,AJ5-J8))) 


so as you can see J9 will increase from 2-99 and each time is goes up i want to go to a different cell in the AJ column and -J8

when J9 = 2 then AJ3 - J8
when J9 = 3 then AJ4 - J8
When J9 = 4 then AJ5 - J8
when J9 = 5 then AJ6 - J8

i hope this makes sense, but as you can see from my current formula this would take ages to write out, as i need to do this twice on 2 workbooks (but they are different cells.)

if you can help me with this one i can work out the other one
