Formula Adjust. Need =IF"" data to remain once entered when =IF"" changes.

    Hello all,

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I am creating a workbook for managerial purposes at work and need help adjusting a formula.

I have created the workbook to look/function as simply as possible and if possible, would like to keep the structure as is. My question is, how can I have a linkable cell in a formula, where the data set it produces remains once the text in the linkable cell is changed?

Ex.. I am attempting to allow employees to place a given month within a linkable cell. This =IF"" then populates the data from Report Value divided by Goal in the correlating column.

My problem is once I change the month in the linkable cell I lose the data within the column of the previous month.

Is there a way to adjust this formula so that the data from any given month remains in it's column once the =IF"" text in the linkable cell is changed so as to input data for the next month.

(( I understand that the simple fix would be to create a Report Value divided by Goal for each month column and eliminate the =IF"" linkable cell, but I would like to keep the workbook as clean and simple as possible))

    Thanks for any help!

    Eddie
