    Exclamation Sorting of data

    Good day all.

I am new here and I am not an excel expert. Hope you can help me. Attached is an excel document. In the document there are two columns. I would like to sort the columns to see where the differences are. Its easy to do sort by A to Z per column. That is half of the problem. I want to see discrepancies between the columns. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

    at the end I want
    ColumnA Columnb

    AB 001 AB 001
    ADC 002
    ADR 001 ADR 001
    TXE 001
    BRT BRT

    ETC

    Re: Sorting of data

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Re: Sorting of data

I'm not quite sure how your data is setup through the example you provided. However, if you would like to see which data sets are not the same, (assuming your data starts in cells A1 and B1) try this formula in C1 and drag down:
