Trying to figure out how to create a weighted budget PLEASE HELP :(

Hi

I am trying to complete a 13 period budget. I have a year end budget number for each category that I need to break up over 13 periods. However some periods are busier than others and therefore should be allocated more of the year end number. I am hoping there is a formula to give each period a specific weight.

Attached is an example. Basically I have a final budget number that I need to break up over 13 periods taking in to account that some periods will be busier than others.

Have your started putting anything together for this yet? Perhaps if you provided a sample workbook, showing examples of what you have, and what you want, it would be easier to offer suggestions?

(oh, and by the way, EXCEL is not a version, its the program name - we ask for the version you are working with so members can tailor suggestions to suite your version )
