I'm building an Excel sheet that has blocks of ~10 rows each & I want to hide some

I'm building an Excel sheet to perform similar calculations.
It will have a lot of similar blocks of perhaps 8 or 10 rows each.
According to data input, some blocks will not be used each time,
so I'd like to hide particular blocks,
say if the input is for only 6 out of 12 steps to be used,
leaving only those that ARE in use?
Otherwise, the sheet seen, will have many unused pages,
making it hard to follow the complex calculations?
I can of course, use conditional formatting,
to put up fonts the same colour as the fill,
but that just leaves a lot of effectively blank pages?
    Can I use conditional formatting,
to set up the "Hide" function perhaps?

There is no way to use condtional formatting for your issue. Without seeing your data, I can suggest two options

    1. Have all your calculations on one sheet and then set up a second sheet to display your results the way you want.

    2. Have VBA hide rows that do not contain results.
