I'm trying to compare & highlight duplicates across two columns.
I've tried conditional formatting, highlighting duplicate/unique values, but I seem to have run across a problem.
In both columns I have employee Id's and dates, that look like:
EmpId01-26-15L
(No spaces, It needs to stay in this format)
When I do conditional formatting, it seems to highlight ALL data that has 01-26-15 in it, and not necessarily matching it to the unique employee ID that's attached to it. Any way to compare/highlight rows in a way other than conditional formatting? or only formatting exact match?
