i am creating a spreadsheet to use as a time card, and also check the math at the same time. the trouble I am having is that I cannot get excel to recognize time under 30 minutes. below are some screen shots including the formulas, columns f-I and k-q are formatted in h:mm, any ideas?

In excel, 1 minute equals 1/(24*60)
8 hour and 5 minutes = (8*60+5)/(24*60) = 0.336805555555556
8 hour and 0 minue = (8*60)/(24*60) = 0.33333333333333300
8:05 - 8: 00 = 0:05 = 0.00347222222222227
But 0:05 = 12:05:00 = 0.00347222222222222
To compare them, must rounding them in J6 formula:
