Help removing to the right of certain characters in cells

Hi!,

I was wondering how to remove to the right of a certain character in a cell or if there was a formula for it?

An example would be removing the | in 100|250|500|1000. So everything to the right of any | would be eliminated in the cell. I have to do this to around 2500 cells so any help would be greatly appreciated in making this process much easier. Also if i could get a formula for removing to the left also that would be incredible.

Hi williamsp15 and welcome to the forum,

Please attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.
