removing specific beginning characters within all cells

Could someone assist with a macro that removes a specific character.
Here's what I have in my various cells
cell 1: .abc-123
cell 2: ..def-456
cell 3: ...hij-789


I would like them converted to the following cells by having all the decimals removed at the beginning:
cell 1: abc-123
cell 2: def-456
cell 3: hij-789

but what happens if I have cells that are intermixed that contain a number decimal, and I do not want those decimals removed?

Far from original sample ! So you can check first char with Left function for example and cut string with Mid function …
