    Angry Design mode

    Good afternoon,

    I have 2013 version of Excel and I can't enable design mode (I need to use ActiveX Controls)
    May someone help me with this please?

    I don't have it. To open developer tab I go to File-Options-Customize Ribbon-Developer-Controls and there is Design mode tab in there, but it is grey. How can I enable it?

    OK, You need to have a Developer Tab on your ribbon to get to Design Mode.

    Follow these instructions:

    If you still can't get a Developer Tab in your ribbon, you might have installed a Student or non-full version of Excel. It may be missing the dll's or code to give you that tab. If you had an IS Admin install your Office/Excel they may have left off the Developer tools??
