Formula to adjust stock for withdrawals

so what I have so far Sheet 3

..........F................G................H
10|...Code........Unit Price.......in stock
11|...127751....1670...............30

I want my stock sheet to also be a working sheet so I need to Change the instock fields to reflect a change on sheet 6

..........E......................F ..............G....................H..................I..............J
........DATE.................TAG..........NAME...............Location..........Cat.......Model
10|....23/02/2015.....CRWWF42....KBCRWWF42D....Dispatched......PC.......OptiPlex 9020 USFF
11|....23/02/2015.....CSWWF42....KBCSWWF42D.....Port 2............PC.......OptiPlex 9020 USFF

so what I want to happen is for the instock to change

example if there is 30 PC's in stock and one of the team change the PC from its location say port 2 to dispatched It will deduct from the 30 units in stock by 1 to now reflect instock level of 29 and should more be changed to dispatched it will keep adjusting this number down until a new amount in is added.

but i am just not getting it, any help would be great that's I hope I have explained this well enough to understand

Re: i think this is an and or if formular

It would be helpful if you post an actual sheet with some sample data and show what you want to happen in the actual sheet.

Re: i think this is an and or if formular

Hi, welcome to the forum

Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards

Help with Formulars

what I have so far looks like this

so I want the instock fields to change as units get dispatched with the Ordered field to be the reference

EG 30 stock when dispatched is selected on page 6 it will drop the in stock amount down to 29 but if I change the 30 to lets say 50 it will adjust the instock levels accordingly dose that make sense I think ive attached the work book for you to look at

Re: Caluation

Im sorry, I fail to see how "calculation" is any more descriptive of your problem than "i think this is an and or if formular"

Think googl;e search terms please

Help with formulas

your the expert if I know what the term I needed was id look it up but I don't so im trying to guess what would make you happy and may possibly relate to what im looking for.

so instead of moaning if you know the answer how about changing it to a name that is Correct because I don't know.

another site suggested I name it this way as it might help.

Re: Formula to adjust stock for withdrawals

I have changed your title for you, and did not use any "fancy" terms

(and if you have posted the same question on another site, forum rules require you to provide a link to that thread there)
