I have two workbooks I am working with. One(Control Numbers) is a list of numbers in column B and divisions in column E. I have to update this workbook daily. I then need this updated info to be in another workbook(Timecards) where it will be used in a LOOKUP forumula. To prevent me from having to copy/paste column B and E into the Timecards workbook every day I would like the Timecards workbook to reference the Control Numbers workbook that has the updated info. I have the formula to do that, but I can't get it to autofill correctly. I want A2 in Timecards to reference B2 in Control Numbers, A3 to reference B3, A4 to reference B4 and so on. The formula I am using is ='[CONTROL NUMBERS OFFICIAL FILE.xls]Sheet1'!$B$2 When I try to drag the formula down it copies the formula exactly as is rather than replacing B2 with B3, B4 etc. There are over 1,000 rows I need to do so entering them manually is out of the question. Thanks for your help.
