Find highest version number for each material number

Hi
I am working in Excel 2010. I would like a formula that will calculate the highest version number for each material number (see below)

Data layout as attached DataMat.xlsx
Ver Material# Answer
62 7234783 64
63 7234783 64
64 7234783 64
50 7243303 52
51 7243303 52
52 7243303 52
50 7252552 53
51 7252552 53
52 7252552 53
53 7252552 53

For each material number (column B) I need to derive the highest version (column A) - So the fomular should return the value shown in the "answer" column

Ideas are welcome.
