Super Easy Make Multiple Cells use *1.2 formula

I want to be able to select multiple cells and enter a formula so I dont have to enter it in every single cell. I want all of these cells in my example to be x1.2 but quickly. How is this done?

    Example CD.xlsx

You can type 1.2 into ANY random cell, copy it, then paste special, and select multiply and it will take the value*1.2=new value for all the cells you pasted to.

Is that what you are asking for?

Select the cells, and then just start typing, beginning with =, followed by the formula, and then Ctrl+Enter.

mikeTRONs superior awesome method Step by step!

In retrospect, if you also wanted to preserve the borders and stuff you could also choose Values from the top menu in Paste Special as well.
