So i've been trying to use the formula to add amount in Col B if Date in Col A is equal or less than the date in row 3. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
EDIT: I replaced "=<C3" with "=<". it's still not working. can anyone help please

welcome to the forum, Jouzea. try:
=SUMIF($A$5:$A$14,"<="&C$3,$B$5:$B$14)
and it's always better to upload an excel file instead and type manually the answers you wish to see so that we can see if we got it right

Sorry i didn't know i could attach one. anyway i think i finally attached the file. as you can see, C4 is still zero even if i changed the formula
