    Rolling 365 attendance tracker

    Our HR department are attempting to update the processes they use to make them more automated. They are asking primarily for a formula that can track sickness over a rolling 365 day block across two separate sheets.

    I've attached a basic example spreadsheet, an attended day would be indicated in hours which are variable based on how many hours the operative has done. Authorized absence would be indicated by "H", Unauthorized absence by "U" and Sickness would be indicated by the letter "S".

    If anyone has a similar formula or any advise, it would be greatly appreciated

    Hi, welcome to the forum

    Would it be possible to put all your data into 1 sheet? And on top of that, to swap things around so the dates go downwards?

    Im thinking that if you could do this, a relatively simple COUNTIFS() would work for you...

    =countifs(date-range,"<="&TODAY(),date-range,">="&EDATE(TODAY(),-12)...................
