3rd level drop down list with hyperlink to sheet in workbook

    Good evening!

I have problem with my drop down lists and hyperlinks.
I have created 3 level depending drop down lists and i want to do that after choosing parameters from drop down lists I would be able to select sheet in my workbook:
For example: Select country -> Select Period -> Select Topic -> Go to selected workbook.

    How can I do this?

I have made dependent lists, but I can't understand how to add hyperlink.

    File attached.

    Thank You!

    Hey
I can help you on this but I am not able to figure out what result you want and what all are criteria. Could you please provide the sample workbook with not having too much data just a few data to, which would enough for understanding. Please be more explicit

Re: 3rd level drop down list with hyperlink to sheet in workbook

I found the problem. Problem is that selection from 3rd drop down consists from more words "Description of the specific building technologies in the period of interest" but is seems that it works only if there is one word. Is it possible to use hyperlink in this situation?

    What do I need to change --> =HYPERLINK("[class_09.04 - Copy.xlsm]Lists!"&F9,"SELECT")

I think, maybe you try name single cell not a range. CountryLookup is range now.

=INDIRECT(VLOOKUP(D9,INDIRECT(VLOOKUP(B9,CountryLookup,2,0)&"Lookup"),2,0)&"List") = result is text with spaces and it is not defined as name.

    but maybe I'm wrong

I tried all links and it doesn't work.

    edit:
ok, I'll try build something like your wkb, but a little later

Re: 3rd level drop down list with hyperlink to sheet in workbook

I tried but this doesn't work because I can not name cell and sheet with one name, but I need hyperlink for exact sheet.

The question is - is it possible to create hyperlink with two-word items or illegal characters? (I mean create sheet name that works with this function)

I added file that works. But I don't want to call sheets "Description1", "Description2" etc. I want it to be "Description of ...".

if this is not a big problem, you can use underscores instead of spaces.
Building external wall description => Building_external_wall_description, and it will work.
I changed tab name Des_18th to Des 18th and it works also, because all names are between " ", so you can use spaces in the name of tab.
I don't think u can use illegal chars.

    or check here and here

    edit2:
    maybe it will help
