    Hi, welcome to the forum. I myself registered about 20 minutes ago. I don't think its possible to memorize all of the formulas. But here is how I did it. Learn the basics, there are many articles, youtube videos, even excels own help file that would help you get started.

    Excel tool set, I would say is pretty straight forward, the difficulty comes, in being able to figure out how exactly to combine formulas, how exactly to use them to get what you need. This is where forums, and experts are very helpful.

    But I would advise to start slow. Start with simple excel formulas, and keep going. Excels Formula Builder basically leads you through setting up a formula, and each of the formulas has a help file, which explains extensively how it works.

    problem is identifying what is actually going to be useful to you
    not point learning about loan amelioration formulas or interest calculations or many of those mathematical formulas if your not going to use it
